Thought for the week:
Seek God Early: There are benefits to experiencing setbacks and problems. They force you to draw close to God because you’re aware that you can’t resolve them yourself. So, you cry out to God. That is, in fact, one of the main reasons God allows you to experience difficulties. Jesus said “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:33). However, many people make little time for prayer, apart from shooting off a quick cry to God during emergencies.
Older people often have a deeper perspective on life, but you don’t need to wait until you’re old to get insight. You can pray even now, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). The sooner you realize that the things of earth don’t satisfy, the sooner you’ll focus on God.

Sunday School is for all ages. Join us each Sunday at 9:30 AM as we grow together in God’s Word—children, youth, and adults alike.
The Missionaries continue to collect toiletries, slightly used and clean coats and clothing to aid victims of recent disasters. Items can be left in the box or on the table in the lower fellowship hall of the church.
