Greeting Second Baptist Family,
Weekly Pastor’s Notes

Thought for the week: “All Eyes Are Upon You”
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
People are watching you and constantly judging whether you live what you preach. This includes other Christians, your children, your spouse, family members, friends and co-workers. That is why Paul said in 1 Tim. 4:12 “be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live.”(NLT). People are constantly watching you. It’s God’s plane-one of His chief ways of letting the world see what the Gospel can do for a person.
People are especially watching when you go through hardships. Paul said, “God has displayed us…we have been made a spectacle to the world” (1 Corinth 4:9 NKJV). How you act when you’re suffering communicates more effectively than a sermon.
This Sunday’s Scripture
Topic: “Under New Management”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
