Greeting Second Baptist Family,
Weekly Pastor’s Notes

We Celebrate Women’s History Month and Great Accomplishments and Endeavors of Women throughout the ages.
Thought for the week: “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded” Luke 12:48 (NIV)”
The more of God you experience, the more He expects of you. One of the barriers to greater spiritual life is failing to realize that God’s call accompanies His joy. There are a few things you need to understand about this experience, however. First, growing in God isn’t only about you. It’s also about God’s Glory in the world.
Second, growing in God prepares you to participate in His great work in the world. Your relationship with Him is precious. But God wants all mankind to know His joy, and He has chosen you to be His representative in the earth. Third, growing in God strengthens you for the inevitable challenges you will face in this life. You know Him, and you know He will provide, protect and preserve you through it all. Live your life totally for Him.

This Sunday’s Scripture
Topic:“I’m Expecting”
Matthew 21:18-22 (KJV)
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
