A Word from the Pastor

(Trusting God to Move) Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”

All of us will face situations in life that we have no control over or the ability to change. It is at that time that we as believers must wait on God to move on our behalf. It takes a strong faith to believe that God is with you and will handle the problems in your life. Yet, we should imitate the thought of Isaiah 8:17, “I will wait on the Lord, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope in Him.”

You may go through a time of testing like Job who himself thought God was against him, but God proved otherwise. In times of trial and uncertainty you must trust God’s Word and believe that “the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him” (Psalms 103:17). Know that God Knows, God Sees and God Cares for you. (Adapted - 3 Min. Devotions, Barbour Publishing)
