A Word from the Pastor

(Completely His) 2 Chronicles 25:2 – “And he (Amaziah) did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart.”

Religion, or it’s practice, ask the question, “are you in or are you out? But God asks, how far in are you? Are you Completely Committed to Me in and through a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ? Just like in an earthly marriage, before the wedding, a man and woman is “out,” but afterward, they are “in.” And once they are married, the question is no longer, are they together because now they have made a declaration to be completely committed to one another.

Every thing God does is to have His people be Completely His. It’s possible to do what is right in His eyes but not in a way that demonstrates a REAL relationship. Following the rules is never enough for a Father. Character and heart matter more. No one ever impressed their spouse, their boss, or the one who has authority over them by giving a halfhearted effort. The good news is that in Christ, each of us are given a whole heart to be His.

For Jeremiah 24:7 puts it like this, God said, “ Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” Start right now and for the rest of your days be “Completely His.” (Adapted - 3 Min.
