Thanks to the combined choir, musicians and all members that travelled with us or prayed for us as we went to Salem to celebrate Men’s Day 2026 with Mt. Pisgah AME Church.

A Word from the Pastor

(Romans 14:12-13) (NKJV) – “So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.”

Each of us must stand before Christ to be judged and we will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil that we have done according to 2. Corinthians 5:10. No one will be able to hide on that day, and God will bring our darkest secrets to light and each of us will receive what is justly due.

This will be the Judgement Seat of Christ, which happens after His second coming. The purpose of this is to reward believers for the good they have done. But it is clear in 1st Corinthians 3 that selfish work will be burned up. Jesus promised that God would reward faithful, diligent service for Him and said that all would be called to give an account for idle words and an idle life. Each of us should strive to live above the standards of this world. (Adapted from unknown author)
