Thought for the week:
Sometimes after a person has been serving the Lord for a few years they can forget the wretched state from which The Lord has brought them from. A person can begin to think that they are quite righteous and even start to believe that they are good enough to make it and live this life on their own. But everyone needs to remind themselves of just what Jesus saved them from and that it was by His grace that they were saved, not because of their own goodness.

Continue to pray for all families going through a season of bereavement and we invite anyone dealing with the passing of a loved one to join us every 3rd Thursday of each month for our Grief2Life Ministry on our direct dial conference call number (667) 776-9070 at 12:30pm.

Please continue to pray for Bro. Shak Williams and family in the passing of his grandmother, Mother Madeline Maxwell (100 yrs old). Home going service will be this Sat. Aug. 9th @ 10am at St. John Methodist Church on Fairview Avenue in Berlin, NJ.
Also pray for the family of Atlantic County Commissioner Ernest Coursey who went from labor to reward.
Bible Study will resume next Wednesday January 8th and all are invited to attend at on our direct dial conference call number (667) 776-9070 at 6:00pm which is immediately followed by our Sweet Hour of Prayer at 7:00pm on the same line.

Please don’t forget “The Conversation” for our young people ages 13 to 19 yrs old Will take place during the month of August. Sunday school Will Not occur during the month of August for children and adults classes to allow our faithful and committed teachers a time of rest and restoration. Sunday school will resume on September 7th for all ages.
The Missionaries continue to collect toiletries, slightly used and clean coats and clothing to aid victims of recent disasters. Items can be left in the box or on the table in the lower fellowship hall of the church.
