A Word from the Pastor

(Just A Little Talk) Psalm 42:5 “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.”

Do you ever look at the difficulties and trials in your life and then start to wonder, there is no way out of this. Things will never get better or this is just the way things are and this just is not fair. There are times when things happen in life that you must be careful of who you listen to, including yourself.

But it is important that you don’t allow your own voice to drown out the voice of Jesus in your life. When you find yourself in doubt and thinking that your life is hopeless, turn your attention to the Lord, who is big enough to take control of your situation. Peter gives us direction when those times occur in life in 1st Peter 5:7, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” Jesus wants to have a little talk with you. (Adapted - 3 Min.
