Thought for the week:
All Things New
A relationship with Jesus invites you to do things you never thought you could do. Somehow, impossible reactions become possible. Jesus helps you forgive when you’d normally hold a grudge, love when it would be easier to hate, and share when you’d like to withhold. You become generous in love, grace, and gentleness toward those who enter your life and not because you’re expecting anything in return.
God accomplished this by entering into a covenant with you. A covenant is a contract that God has bound Himself to fulfill. God brings all the positive attributes and resources, grace, forgiveness, and love. It seems unfair because you get everything and He doesn’t seem to get much, but this is the covenant God gladly accepts. Once you have access to all God offers, you find your perceptions, attitudes, and thoughts changed. You come to Jesus just as you are, but you don’t stay that way. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”(KJV).

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Sunday School is for all ages. Join us each Sunday at 9:30 AM as we grow together in God’s Word—children, youth, and adults alike.
The Missionaries continue to collect toiletries, slightly used and clean coats and clothing to aid victims of recent disasters. Items can be left in the box or on the table in the lower fellowship hall of the church.
